While there are many opportunities to work and play right here at the Ranch, we also recognize that some clients may want to seek employment at other locations in the area. We have partnered with most community businesses at one time or another and will work with them to place clients in positions that match the clients’ interests and skills. We can provide job coaching and other services that will help create successful employment placements.
Additionally, we have partnered with the Commission for the Blind to operate a small coffee shop in the Mora County Complex. This provides us with the ability to create a range of employment options in a closely controlled environment. We have used this as a stepping stone to prepare clients for more advanced placements with other businesses. It also exposes our clients to the community members and helps them to better understand folks with disabilities.
